One of the many mysteries of the world. Were there any differences with the cards? Like maybe one has two DVI ports and one has one DVI and one other port?

I heard somewhere that one version of the evga card has HDCP support and another doesn't. Maybe that's the reason?

you got two different part numbers because they are two different parts. the question is, did you get two different model numbers?

i dont actually know the answer to your question, i was just trying to help. it seems the answer is some do, and some dont, but im certainly not an authority on the subject. there isnt much info on your second model number, so it is hard to tell. you could always try something with HDCP and see if it works.
