I've had to mow the lawn twice in about 4 days! The damn rain is making shit grow like the prehistoric era around here. And if I hear this Summer has fire danger I'm going to scream!

How long have you been living in the semi-arid west? A lot of snow or rain in the spring always means increased growth of underbrush and BIG fire danger later in the summer. How big just depends on how hot and dry it gets in July and August.

Ditto. It may have been snowing yesterday, but those damn dandelion stems seem to grow about 4 inches a day.

I'm just bummed out that we dropped down to 30 degrees overnight - all the apple trees were in full bloom. Crossing my fingers, but the entire crop might have been destroyed from that frost. 4 days ago, I was trying to figure out how many pick-ups full of apples I was going to harvest, and what the weight all the apples filling the bed of my pickup would be.

Yeah...but doesn't all the moisture mean anything? LOL

Last year the pool only reached 85F a couple times. I'm betting the same thing this year.

Record warm March here. Close to a record warm April here. Thus far having a record cold May. It's averaging 20* colder this year than May of 2015.

Not quite at the point of having to mow the lawn yet here but it's starting to turn green. It looks like I won't even have to bother raking the front lawn. We got snow the other day but it did not stay. Most of our snow from winter seems to be gone. River is all open too.
