I got three question about windows vista

I plan to purchase windows vista when it come out, and i have these two questions:

1)My gfriend have his notebook with win xp.She wont upgrade to vista, will we be able to share our netowork we currently have with windows xp?( basicely, will windows vista work with windows xp?? )

2) will i see improvement in framerate with current games like oblivion with windows vista or it will be the same?

3) did ms announce price for all their editions yet?

1. Yes Vista will be able to share files across a network with XP
2. You will probably not see a signifigant change in gaming performance/frame rate since that is largely hardware dependant
3. There have been some speculated prices, but as far as I'm aware there hasnt been an official announcement on price
