Washed it pretty good but it's like half the top layer of skin is missing, on my nail too.

Funny thing is, I don't feel it. But It's gone. Oh well.

You can try nasty solvents(acetone is a perennial favorite); but the only sure cure is waiting for the layer of skin to be shed over time.

Use a new boxcutter blade. If you're careful, you only lose a bit of flesh.

It's like getting sharpie on your hands. Just chill and it'll flake off after a while.

I've been using super glue to close up cuts and cracks on my hands/fingers for years. It only last a day or so and I have to reapply. I take long showers at least twice a day, though, so YMMV.

My advice would be to wait it out.

The last time I used super glue, I got some on my jeans. I went at it with acetone for about ten minutes and made no progress... aside from getting a little high and exposing myself to a mild carcinogen.

Best thing to do is use a debonder, otherwise roll the skin so that you are only pulling up on small surface area of the glue, really makes it much easier to separate the skin.

No, I think I'll just let it fall off on it's own, either that or eat it off.

Don't listen to any of the above posts. Just get some nail polish remover, (with acetone) and dab it on your finger; it dissolves super glue very well. Otherwise, unless two of your fingers are glued together, no harm will come for leaving it on your skin until you shed a couple layers.

edit: Ah missed the post that advised this. Well this is your best bet :)
