Subs are good but for your own sake and everyone elses do not drive down a crowded street with your music blaring. People look but they aren't looking because they are impressed, those hushed whispers to their friends that you see in your rear view mirror are whispers or scorn and its never hard to see people laughing as somebody drives down the road with their car shaking from the bass.

If you aren't one of those people with the car-shaking bass on all the time, great!

nope, not a neon, the trunk on the neon is only metal, the rear glass is not attached, thats a hatchback.

Naa I don't play my music blaring loud. I just like the boom that the subs give, hell I don't think you can hear my music outside of the car. Anyways I hate it when people play music really loud well I mean I do sometimes but it depends on what kind of mood I'm in, BTW I got an update on the speakers they are getting installed tommorow :D.

Its not a Neon its an Integra. Ummm those are 10" subs :)

BTW if you want to see my car Click here to check it out.

I have a single 10inch Orion XTR in a bandpass in a boat of a car, and I can hear it over 50 feet away when I'm really crankin it.
Only certain songs do it (different frequecies carry further), but it's nice when it does :D

That's cause bandpass boxes put out mondo sound for a tiny frequency range and suck for everything else.

Not a bad looking install. When I finally get another car my sounds are going in it. When I'm done I'll have pics of the whole install. Those MTX's are pretty good all around subs. My friend has em. They bottom out on some songs but sound alright. No low end though. He's pushing it with a MTX amp too. Not sure how much watts though...

Makes me miss my setup. Mine got stolen about 4 months back. I had about $4,500 invested and have nearly nothing left after they stole my car. =(

I feel your pain divinemartyr. Same thing happened to me back in 89. I had full coverage though, so I got most of it back.

Nicely installed. I'll bet that system puts out some good quality sound. D@mn fine car too. Just noticed, the HVAC / Radio controls bear a striking resemblance to the same controls in my 3rd gen. Accord (seriously), guess Honda got that design right the first time.

Pretty nice install. Are those mtx's dvc's or svc's? You'd be surprised at how loud the music can get. After a while it won't sound loud to you. I have 2 IDQ 12's off a Cadence A5HC and i listen to it about 1/2 way up all the time...didn't think it was so loud till i passed my friend on the highway on the way to school and he said he could hear my bass in his car...and both our windows were up.

Absolute madness :D
Whenever I get my Chevette, I'm gonna stuff either a pair of 12's or 4 8's in there to begin with and expend from there :D

i put a orion HCCA 10" in an orion enclosure, boy that speaker pounds the hell out of my head.

great speaker you can get them for about $159 reman' on fleabay, new they are like $650 in a box.

must run like 800 watts rms to the speaker, we're not talking pyramid 800 watts either :)

my stang had underdrive pullies, and when the bass was pounding, i'd get about 8V till i hit 3000rpm :)

4 gauge to the battery. if you can afford the rig, check out the speaker.
