"I got soul but I'm not a soldier"

My gf corrupted my sound system enough with this stuff 😉

Luckily I had to move the receiver over another foot once I got my new stand so I have a great excuse of the cables don't reach anymore so I don't have to listen to her crap.

Another Killers thread, eh? a little behind the times, no? 😛
Meh, I've had the album [legally] since some time back in August/September...but I hardly ever listened to it all the way through until earlier this year.

What other bands would you recommend for Killers fans? I like Rooney and Phantom Planet somewhat, Franz Ferdinand is okay but I want to listen to other modern bands who've recaptured the 80's synth-rock Depeche Mode-style sound.

i fvcking hate the killers and all their fashion-core neo-new-wave-dance-punk breed. i hate the killers worst because they are on the cover of every pretentious bullsh!t 'zine, newspaper music section, barnes and noble craptastic pop-culture reference-guide music rag, and on every NBC show i make the mistake of turning on.

to them, i say: stop worrying about your hair and your suit and start playing music like the MUSIC means something to you. don't just stand there and make like frank sinatras-turned-robots. show some passion, for christ sake. be obsessed with playing music, not with being musicians. move me.

and new wave sucked the first time around, so we REALLY don't need it again.

People like you make me want to puke. Music is as much entertainment as it is art. Get your (Radio)head out of your arse.
