I participate in volleyball after school and my wallet was inside my jean pocket at the bottum of my duffel bag. I didn't notice it was missing until I got home that evening. It contained my drivers license, 130$+ (i was carrying around that much money to pay a fee for a school thing), my hospitol/library/school identification/membership cards, tons of reciepts, and my feeling of security 🙁

I'm sorry to hear that and I know how it feels. Some jack@sses back in HS decided to break into my car and steal everything I had. Let us just say that those bastards paid for it in the long run. Stupid people couldnt keep their mouth shut and word gets around fast.

reminds me of my school's "security gaurd". We have had 4 incidents of people's cars being stolen. It's so funny. One time my friends car was broken into. he saw the whole thign being done and he just told my friend "I saw the whole thing. those raveges took everything." It was so funny. Anyways, after they took out his whole dashboard, they failed to steal the $400 guitar and $300 amp in teh backseat.

You can clean off paint and marker.
You can't make your wallet reappear.

as strange as this may sound, it could be blessing. sometimes i look at things that way....
example:
i used to live in this kinda crappy area - my car got broken into 1 night and radio stolen
although it was a sh*tty thing to happen, it was a good wake-up call. it basically woke me up and made me realize that i had to move out and make that a goal before something else happens.

in your situation, well you lost a bit of money BUT now you will always be more AWARE. so that next time, lets say you are carrying around $1000 or so, you wont be losing it that way again.

life's weird. sometimes the bad things actually prevent the worse things from happening.

You can't glue your car together after some guys have used some heavy, metal objects to damage it.

A wallet can be found again.

yeah, i'm pretty pissed about the money but I'd rather just figure out who did it and get my security back. I feel pretty bad that I can't even trust my own teammates on my high school volleyball team to not steal from me. The money can always be replaced but now I just have a big question mark over the teammates I thought were my friends...

you dont find "stolen" wallets, maybe you find "lost" wallets.. and theres even a slim chance with that

True.
But I'd rather know my car's quarter panel was smashed, then, knowing I have no ID, no access to my money and someone else has access to all my important information.

Thats very similar to something that happened to me once. Kid stole my shyt from a school event. The only difference was that in the end, his eyes were swollen shut for 3 days, and I ended up +$100 and a new wallet. Needless to say for some reason he never makes eye contact with me anymore 😉

That sucks. 🙁

Have you reported it as stolen/missing? Perhaps offer a small reward for its safe return or information leading to its return.

only one of them is the scumbag, maybe you should try talking to some of the others and see if anyone noticed anything, had their stuff taken, etc. -- go after the scum as a pack :

sorry to hear that. Stick everything in your locker. Loosing money is an issue but not as big as getting replacement for ID, driver license.......................
Waste of time

You were the victim of a theft, not a robbery. Robbery is when someone uses threat of injury or force to take something from you. You know, like 'gimme your wallet or I'll show you a picture of Rosanne Barr naked.'

True...I'd rather a street thug spraypaint his name on my wallet that steal it, any day
