I got rid of the freei banner!

Just by closing the program down. For some reason, it remains connected but still shuts down the freeinet program altogether. How simple is that?!

Use one of the Version 1 clients and connect. Banner disappears and a dialog box pops up telling you that the client will be upgraded. The dialog box doesn't stay on top and it doesn't disconnect you. Continue surfing. Enjoy.

OR

Just make a connection using DUN to use a FreeI account without the banner.
