I got pulled over 2 times yesterday...

I was stopped at a red light. I was on my way to work and I was debating should I get gas or not. The gas gaudge was pinned on E and the stupid light was on. So I said why not and did a u-turn at the light. The only problem was a) there was a cop behind me and b) the entrance to the gas station was further down the block. I was actually going against traffic. Luckily it was close to 12am so there weren't any cars out at that time.

So I saw the cop and cursed at myself. I did a full u-turn and went back to the red light. Once it turned green he pulled me over and asked if I was drinking. I told him no and he ran my license. It came back clean and he gave me a warning. No points! whew...


Oh, and earlier that day I was pulled over for doing 55 mph in a 40 mph zone. I was given a warning as well and got zero points.


I must have been pulled over by police about 5-6 times the last 2 years and have gotten zero points. What luck!

I didn't have a choice. I would have gone against traffic if I had attempted to go to the gas station. I could have easily gotten into a head on collision if another car was heading in that direction.

You are debating whether or not to get gas when the needle is on E and your light is on.

Then you do a u-turn with a cop there, which in itself is fine, you didn't see the cop. (assuming a u-turn is legal in that area) But then to somehow make things better you did a second u-turn?

That makes no sense at all.

I did a u-turn at the red light and was going against traffic. I did this because I wanted to enter the gas station parking lot. There was a cop behind me so I quickly did another u turn and was once again at the original red light.

It was like I did a full circle at the red light.

You didn't see the cop behind you? You didn't think of maybe looking in your rear view mirror to check first? Was he right behinf you stopped at the light with you or did he come up to there later?

so you pretty much did a circle in the middle of an intersection as the cop watched you?

how do you not get a ticket for that . .

Did the cop just sit there the whole time? How did you end up back in front of the cop?
