Was offered the job yesterday morning. Did a short interview. Got a verbal offer and I said I will give a decision by end of tomarrow. Kind of unexpected as I have an interview with our department heads for a training postion which I'm supposeddly the favorite. Never even laid brick before other than a wall in minecraft to keep the zombies out.
Brick layer pays a lot more but trainer I have a crap ton more freedom and don't have to do much lifting.
Downside is I'd have to move down south to the border, and it sounds like it's a temporary position, but it's a huge project that will go for years and the maintenance might actually create permanent jobs.
Thoughts?
