In related news, I can't beleive how much people will pay for ugly shoes from Nike. I stopped by a shoestore that sells them on my way to get these shoes (was walking past it in the mall) and thier cheapest pair was like $85! I paid $40 for mine, and they'll last me 2 years.

i paid 50 bucks for two pairs of velcro Pumas a few days ago. also 30 bucks for two pairs of velcro chucks too. don't know why i'm in a velcro shoe mood these days. screw 100+ dollar kicks!

I spent a brief period of time today shoe shopping but was unable to find a satisfactory pair of kicks. I find basic nike walking shoes are very comfortable but wear out way too quickly, just like my new balance ones did....boooooo.
