I built my new computer yesterday, didn't take too long to get it together, maybe an hour and a bit. Had a few problems when I was done building it, I got a message that said ntldr missing. Since the computer posted fine, I figured that it probably didn't matter and I proceeded to try to install windows XP pro... after failing in that a few times (hal.dll file was missing. I decided that it was time to try somthing else. I ran a search on google and it said that the ntldr error can be caused by a faulty ide cable. Faulty ide cable I thought, hmm well I used the ones from my old system so there shouldn't be a problem... only after trying to install windows a few more times did I remember that I had put a new ide cable in the computer. So I pulled it out and voila flawless installation of the os. Aah well guess I learned a few things and it was fun building the thing. Can't wait to try out the 9800 on Call of duty... oh yeah and where do I get the hotfixes for the drivers? Installed Catalyst 3.9's.
