The best method is to choose two random people per day and put them on ignore. Over time the number of idiots you see posting will decrease.

For best results put everyone on ignore and post in threads introspectively without regard to whether anyone reads it or responds to it. Kind of like myspace but without the cool pictures and music thing going on.. and without the social part too...
