It turned out pretty damn sweet! the shade is a lil bit darker and more purplish then i would have liked but i still love it! I had a lot of fun doing this project.. basically disassembling the whole case, drilling out the rivets and cleaning everything. Then riveting back together again! I LOVE my case now. it cost me about $60 total to strip the old anodizing and redo it in blue. Pictures available on my site. What do you think?

Wow... very nice.

I really like the layout of your case as well. The harddrive on their sides like that seems like a great idea... debating on whether I can change mine around to do that.

I will be trying something similar to what you did using regular blue spraypaint, probably next week. Still need to take everything out of the case, and cut out the stock fan grills. I can only hope it turns out half as well as your case. :)

That's awesome man ;) Didn't realize it could be done for such a good price like that :)

What the f*ck are you talking about Pothead? It costs $40+ to paint a case the right way, and he got the chassis annodized for a total of $60.

Kinda OT, but how do you ensure airflow for the rest of the case with your HD bay filled up? I've put three HD's down there in my PC-65 but I'm hesitant to fill the other two slots because of concerns about them completely blocking the intake air from the front fans.

edit: and how did you get your rounded cables custom cut for that short length? do it yourself?

edit2: I noticed you moved the position of the cold cathode after anodizing it. Any particular reason? How the the anodizing affect the light intensity and quality?

I just bought the short ones instead of the long ones. hehe... as for the airflow, yeah i have 3 drives there too. i don't think that blocks the airflow that much.. but then again, i'm running a P4 @ 2.4 so my temps aren't as high as an AMD system. next step is watercooling this badboy.. just for the fun of it and to learn how it works.
