I got my Alpha PEP66 with Delta fan...

My cpu is a Celeron 600 trying for a gigHz.

I also bought a peltier kit with it, but am having trouble mounting it. Has anybody used a peltier with a PEP66? The alpha has feet on it to keep it from rocking on the chip, I guessI need to cut those off...

Does the standard retension clip work with a peltier and cold plate?

i THINK you have to lap the bottom if you want to use it with your peltier... meaning sand the bottom flat.......

depending on how big your peltier is, you may or may not have to lap the bottom of your heatsink. But you will most likely have to trim the feet of your PEP.

Don't lap the alpha! They are perfectly flat as they are. If you mean the feet then yes those need to be clipped for a peltier.
