I got an awesome deal on 3 spoke steering wheel form an s6 that comes with tiptronic buttons and I finally got some free time to install it. I still need to wire in a timed relay to be able to be able to switch to top on demand :)

I really miss the days when swapping a steering wheel meant 10 minutes and a socket wrench. :)

Holy moly that looks like a ton of work! I put an M3 steering wheel in my 330i and that took about 40 minutes because I had to pull the airbag, and that was enough of a hassle for me.

I've wanted to put the TSX or TL steering wheel onto my car... but its not worth the cost

Well actually changing the wheel is pretty trivial, I had to tear down the dash to run the new wiring for the tiptronic buttons...
