I got invited to a LAN party at work

a guy I know called me up the other day and asked me if I wanted to come to a LAN party. Sure, I said, thinking he meant at his house or something. Okay, he says, bring your computer to work tomorrow; we're having a two-day LAN party. We already notified your boss so he knows not to expect you for the next few days.

Haha, getting paid to play games. It's just like my old job except without the annoying boss.
 
We had a LAN Party on Friday, whole sys admin department, pizza, soda and junk food, all comped, it was great!
 
My IT department does that over lunch break sometimes.... I have found that thouroughly kicking everyone's ass really does change workplace politics in your favor 🙂
 
ha, I'd like to kick everyone's asses, but I don't game too much anymore and am probably gona get a whoopin' 🙂

Apparently they used to do that here where I work, but some asshats were caught playing around 2 or 3, so those times are well past 🙁
