I had some pizza last night, & it was good...or so i thought.

But this morning i woke up feeling sick, & i've puked up most the pizza in two puke sessions :(

Is there any way to hasten getting this crap outta my system?

I've been drinking a decent amount of water, but i wonder if that's aggravating it more.

Ugh @ being sick...

Not really. Just try to stay hydrated. Drink something like Gatorade or Sprite if you don't want water.

plain yourt with active cultures.
Reestablishing good intestinal flora will make you feel better quicker.
Stay hydrated.
You're not that badly poisoned, or you wouldn't be posting, maybe you have the flu?

Get plenty of fluids in your system, and electrolytes. Water/Gatorade (electrolytes) will help.

Same here, I ate something about 11pm Saturday night and puked it up around 3am. Back and forth to the john all day yesterday with a low grade fever. Sucks donkey balls. I've been taking a large amount of Acidophilus to help with the intestinal flora. Looks like I'll be able to work tomorrow. :)

It's not the flu. Well, not likely any flu i've ever had before.

I am okay right after puking (just did), but then after a bit my stomach turns into turmoil again, & i can barely sit/lie/stand w/o extreme discomfort.

I will keep drinking lots of water...i guess that might help flush this ****** out somewhat.

I'd go get some yogurt, but it's -23C & windy out right now, & i feel like crap as it is.

Clear fluids only until you are able to keep food down and you are finished with diarrhea. Then bland, easy to digest foods and some yogurt for the rest of the day. Drink a lot of non-alcoholic, non-caffeinated fluids (clear juices, sprite, water, gatorade, broth). This advice applies to vomitting and diarrhea regardless of the cause.

well how long a bug takes before you feel it depends on the bug, so you may actually attribute the poisoning to the wrong meal.

just rest. nothing u can do but ride it out

Did it come on very quickly (like an hour or so from first stomach pain to barfing?) Does your stomach hurt like hell? Diarrhea? Those are some of the signs of Norwalk virus.

I guess it could be something else.

I was fine last night, but about 6 hours later is when i woke up & felt like sh*t.

It feels like a third puke session is coming on soon...the stomach cramping is getting unbearable.

Semi dirrahea this morning, nothing since...but that's like cause nothing's getting digested.

Ahh i gotta go try to lie down again.

Severe stomach pain is back

whenever it wants to come out, just let it come out. the only thing that helped me was to just sleep, drink gatorade, and then heave, and then sleep some more. it finally went away by the end of the night (i think i started heaving around 2am, and i felt much better by 8pm.)

Apple cider vinegar (1 TBSP. at a time) and coca cola (8-12 oz at a time). Helps digest whats in there.

Wow, last hour has been hell.

Lay down for an hour in ridiculous discomfort, & now i just finally puked again.

Just puking up water pretty much now though.

And like the previous two times, i feel fine after puking, but ah god, i don't want to be in hell again while i wait to puke again.

This day has turned out to be hell.

You weren't eating sushi in London, were you? I'd be worried if your hair starts falling out...

On the bright side, once you get all of that junk out of your system you will feel a lot better than you did before even you got sick. Something about the fasting and cleaning out the stomach I guess.

Yogurt is a good suggestion, but I waited until I had completely stopped the puking before I drank a lot of fluids and ate yogurt. Maybe that wasn't the best way to do it, but it worked for me. I think you are going to keep puking until it's basically all out so there may not be much point in eating something that's just going to come back up.

You may want to get tested if it lasts a while. I got salmonella and was unable to eat for many days. Sucked big time. I didn't know it was salmonella until I got tested, then they gave me medication and told me some precautions to take to prevent it from spreading to my family.

Related: I read somewhere that people are very often wrong when choosing what food to blame for their food poisoning.

:(

I am waiting for the fifth puke session to start.

I do suspect this is more than food posioning after throwing up water the last few times...
