I got banned for teamflashing acidentally

I got banned off my favourite CS:S server because they thought I was a teamflasher but it wasnt deliberate

Are CS:S server bans forever?


Edit: No, it was not deliberate. Two separate accidents

1) I was on de_dust2 and we were rushing Long A. I flipped a flash above the walls without realizing my entire team was there. The team got raped and I was warned

2) On a B rush, I wanted to flash the tunnels so I threw a flash all the way from T-spawn and it bounced off the wall, flashing people including the admin and I got banned.



Still banned.

Go to the forums and post. Most of the clan servers that I play on will have a section in the forums about banned accounts. Give your steam ID and explanation and you may get unbanned. Otherwise, find a different server, there's a million of them.

usually flash banging your entire team at spawn...

depends what server plugin they use. it could be a perma ban, or like a week or two. best bet is to contact the admin.

Man seriously who cares there are tons of other servers. Back when I was a CS whore i used to get banned once a week by some newb admin saying I was "cheating" just because i kept killing him. TBH if the admins of the server are gonna go around permabanning people just for accidentally throwing a few flashbangs in the wrong place then maybe its for the best that you don't play there anyways.

EDIT: also usually any good server will be associated with a clan or something, if you play there alot just go to their forums and explain what happened and they will probably unban you.

Well, it was an awesome game...around the same time we were all getting over the y2k bug. It's kinda ancient now, CS:S or not.

Where did I say anything about halo? Halo is a pretty mediocre FPS IMO.

I agree. Find their forum and tell them you didn't do it deliberately. Hope that they'll be lenient, give you a second chance and unban you.
