I got an overdue notice from our local paper today...

Says I'm 60 days overdue, yet I only signed up for a five week weekend program? I guess they just kept billing me? I've never read the paper at all since my five week program was up. Sure, sometimes they were outside, but I assumed they were my neighbors or something (we all live close to each other).

My question is: do papers report to the credit bureaus?

It's standard policy for newspapers to continue delivery unless you call to cancel, because people get upset if they didn't want it to stop.

How many bills did they send you?

Our paper will keep delivering for a month! Just call and tell them that you choose not to renew. Be kind and tip your paper boy/girl.
