Nah, I can't rememeber which county did this. But I do remember they used to cut the person hands off if they steal anything. Keeping that in mind, maybe they could cut off 1 finger per spam e-mail they send out. :D:beer:. Then if they still spam and dont have any fingers left some how. They could rip off there lip's or something. lol

On a side note. One time a person sent me a virus by e-mail. My anti-virus software did pick it up fine. I tracked down the persons ISP and called them and raised hell. The user that sent me it got their connection cut off.

ebay_security@ebay-accept.com looked legit?

WOW.

When you say it like that, it seems obvious that its a fraud.

When you havent encountered one, havent heard specific details of one.... some email that 'looks' legit can appear to be so until you pick apart the minor details.

Got a paypal one, saying it had been compromised or something. I was quite sure it was a scam since I've never had an paypal account.

It's fun to mouseover the hyperlinks in those e-mails just to check out the random IP address they route you through:)

It's even more obvious if you look at the message headers, I really doubt eBay mail would be coming from svr10.edns1.com or cathoo.schedom-europe.net or georg.rochester.edu
