A little over 3% increase (upto $17/hr from $16.50) and was told I should expect a larger raise within 6 months. I was told that upper management had a meeting specifically about me and they all agreed that I was a great resource to the company and this was just their way to say thanks.

I'm happy! :D

Congrats, hopefully this increase won't all go to the IRS. Vote for bush in 2004 and it won't. ;)

Anyways, congrats again.

Good for you man. What do you do, exactly? I'm guessing you're interning at a tech company. Back when the economy was better, I was interning at $15/hr and got a raise to $18.58/hr because my manager was a moron and screwed up. :D

Nope, I'm the network admin for a small corporate consulting firm. Started out as a Web Developer and was kind of pushed into the job. Really, I should be making more than I do, but my job is EXTREMELY flexible to my schedule as a full time student. The full insurance coverage is nice too. :)

Nice. I think what you make is a lot considering you're still a full time student with full insurance coverage from work. Hell, I didn't get jack shiet working while going to school besides my hourly pay. :disgust:

Thanks for bragging to the forum about how much money you make.

PS- The last raise I got, I went from being serving gruel and getting beaten for 10 minutes to being served bread and being beaten for only 5 minutes. I'm hoping next raise they'll either give me a slice of butter or lengthen the chains that shackle me in my dungeon.

Let me know when they lengthen those chains. I'll make sure to dangle that roast beef sandwich further back...

I hate when people do that, the sandwich seems so close yet it is so far away...

If you insist on complaining about our generosity, we can always go back to NO gruel and 30 minute beatings.

Hell, you can have the damn sandwich. But no Arby's Horsey Sauce for you!
