FFX, MGS2 are some of the coolest game I've ever played on PS2. Get FFX and you'll easily gets 60+ hours with that game. If you're a maniac like some of the people I've chatted with, you'll get 200 hours + 
If you like sports game, get NBA2k2, NHL Hitz and SSX Tricky.
But what I think is the best PS2 game of all time is Winning Eleven 5 FE. (Jap version. Need modchip or knife trick to play).
