Finally....7 months and 10 days after losing my last job, I'm back in the IT industry!!!!

Car sales was cool for a while...I've learned a lot but the hours suck and the pay just wasn't what I was hoping for.

Whew! What a relief! And this new company is great! Esp. considering I grew up one street away from her and this company makes software for victim notification based on what happened to Mary.

Their software, VINE, is rather mature but they are entering additional states/county govts and I will be working to migrate their data to the Appriss DB servers. There are also some other projects underway there and I may get a chance to work on those and get fully back into development (or, who knows, jump up to mgmt...given my age that's not a bad thing to consider 😉 )

And, yep, woo, it's a great company and a wonderful service they provide. It will make the job very worthwhile for me!
