Sup guys,
I just bought a brand new camcorder, digital. It's great however, I have this great computer but I don?t have a firewire card. What would be a good card to get for something under 30 (I?d like)? I do not need any cables; I got them with something else I bought with my computer. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

I just Bought a JVC DVP7 and Pinnacle Studio 8 DV. It was around £80($120?) but had the FW card, cable and great editing software.

Just bear in mind that an hour of DV video is 14Gb of data :Q

I have just today bought two 60Gb Maxtor and hooked them onto a Raid 0 setup to satisfy DV's insatiable appetite for disk. Getting 90Mb a second sequential reads/writes tho....😀
