I GOT A FREAKING TICKET, is there any way out!

I got a ticket Sept 1 for My NYS inspection that expired august 31. I got it inspected Sept 2nd. Is there any way that i can get out of the ticket?

Yeah, like the entire month that it expires. If the sticker says August 2005, you have all of August to get it done.
