Lifer
wahoo
its stick and its MINE MINE MINE

stuff i've done in the last two days since i got it: put in subwoofer, tweeters, get a gps, fog lights, roof rack. (all the parts are genuine honda, but i got them and installed them myself to save on labor costs which are ridiculous at honda dealers)

wahoo

EDIT: I DON'T Really think it's a pos. its a nice car, and it was free. so i'm ecstatic

Wait, did you buy it from him or did he give it to you?

If he gave it to you, you *should* be happy. 😛

fyi i didn't buy it, my dad got posted to india for 3 years for his job, so he bought a car there and gave me his old one. i can't argue with a free car. and i'd only get $12-15k if i sold it today, couldn't get very much for that.

oh and its got 20k miles on it so far.

and i'm a very good driver. everyone in my family has been in at least one accident/parking lot ding. i've never had a scratch in 3 years. i never go more than 30 above the limit, and that only on empty, dry roads.

haha i'm not bitching. i love it like my baby. duh i woulda prefered something a little sportier but i'm very very very happy...thus the "wahooo"s

lol, I know how you feel. I almost got a CR-V a few years ago but went with an Impreza Sport instead.

wow. It's amazing how many people (100% I'd argue) say "I never go more than xx above the limit" (where xx can vary between 5 to 50) and expect everyone to think that's perfectly reasonable. People who speed 10 over (myself), think EVERYONE should speed 10 over. People who speed 30 over, think 30 over is a perfectly reasonable speed. People who speed 50 over...but I digress.

Yeah. 30-over = reckless driving.

Yeah. 30-over = reckless driving.

let me clarify. on a 35mph road, totally empty, i would drive 45. in residential(25mph) I drive 15mph.
on an empty dry highway i might drive 85 (55+30).
