having never had a car to ever drive, and being ridiculed up until first year of college when i decided to drive about 10 hours, and finally get a license i thought this day would never come. My dad talked to a car reposesor friend of a computer parts distributor business acquantance of his, and i am finally getting a car. Of course i paid 2/3 of the cost but its gonna be awesome. I'm getting an almost new, 2001 nissan altima GLE for $7500 , $5000 of which i worked my ass off to pay for. Woohoo,k i think i'll drive around town and just waste $2 a gallon gas all summer.

As marv albert would say, "YES!"

Those Altimas are great. I drove a 2000 rental when I was vacationing in Florida year and I loved it. Handled nice and accelerated decent, although for some real accleration you need a Maxima:)

I have a 98 Maxima SE (Sports Edition) its not the best acceleration out there but maybe from the Nissan family it might be.

the GLE's are only auto. they are supposed to be luxury and i guess people who are in luxury cant drive manual. These repossesed cars, like the guy goes to these auctions where they have cars that got into accidents, so he goes around looking for ones with fender benders and low milage. Like the milage on this is under 1200 miles or so. and then they just fix the fender bender and its done.
