I got a Asus K7M-RM micro atx motherboard that has a siren noise coming from the speakers...

These are great motherboards but I forgot how to disable the siren sound coming from the speakers. I went thru the BIOS and didn't see anything special. Does anyone remember how to disable the noise?? This is my fourth K7M-RM and I like these...

That sounds like the overheat warning audio code, best to check that the heatsink is making proper contact with the CPU and that the fan is plugged in and turning enough RPMs. BTW I haven't worked with that board but there may be an option in the bios to disable it.

Sounds like the chassis intrusion setting is enabled. The setting is found in the 'Hardware Monitoring' screen in BIOS. I used to get an alarm at boot up when I pushed my Vcore over 1.8V but that was related to motherboard monitor....

btw, what video card do you use in your K7M? I'm planning to upgrade mine to a GeForce4200 but don't know if it can handle the newer video cards.
