I'm kinda of loathe to admit it's right as it is hosted on hannahmontanavids.com, but yeah it's Whammer Jammer by the J. Geils Band. It's a harmonica-blues song and the lyrics in the OP are from the popular 1972 live recording.

When I was a kid my dad used to wake me up in the morning on Saturdays by blasting this song on the stereo.
