-car accident (my fault due to inadequacy...was not distracted or anything)
I was paying attention to traffic that I was going to merge with, and the cars that were merging with me stopped quickly, pwning my little beater to be frank. I hit an suv and pushed it into another a small pickup in front of it (they had both braked rather quickly for oncoming traffic so we were all tight when we hit.
-no one was hurt, and insurance covered everything for the other parties. Unfortunately I didn't have collision ( too much $$$ for such an old car) so mine was totaled.
-officer said that since it involved two cars other than mine it had to be written as reckless but that he would drop it to improper in court since it seemed like an accident and no one got hurt.
-tried to contact the officer to see if everything was okay for tomorrow (everyone told me to give it a shot) but we each kept calling each other when we were busy and only exchanged voice mails, mine detailed and his, well, not. I don't blame him. He seemed pretty busy.
Got court in the morning. Not sure what will happen. I have no car to drive so it could be worse, but charges are still charges, and I'd hate to suffer more than I already have just because I made a bad judgment call.
I have no car, for the first time in like 8 years if I remember correctly, and hopefully by the end of the day tomorrow that, along with having correct change for the bus, will still be the most pressing worry on my mind.
Cliffs?
take your ADD meds and get back to me...
and yes I use public transportation now
