I stayed home the entire day on Friday because I knew they would offer the Windows 7 Beta for DL + key. I started checking the following site constantly since 12pm with firefox addon ReloadEvery... every 5 mins, then every 1 min when 3pm (heard it was at 3pm) rolled around.

That webpage itself, which I was directed to from the Windows Team Blog (site below), said to check this afternoon for the download.

I waited and waited, and nothing. Around 5 or 6pm, a message is posted on the first link that is still there.
"Thanks for your interest in the Windows 7 Beta. The volume has been phenomenal?we're in the process of adding more servers to handle the demand. We're sorry for the delay and we'll re-post the Beta as soon as we can ensure a quality download experience."
Wait a minute! What does it mean repost?! I was here the entire afternoon and nothing came up. I went onto Hardocp.com and I saw DL links. I was angry then. How did Hardocp come up with links before the windows website. Am I missing something? I thought I was at the place to DL windows 7, but it seems like everyone else knew something that I didn't.
I quickly download Windows 7 from the Hardocp.com links, which are still up. I'm excited. Then I notice that the download finished, but I couldn't have DL'd 2.4 GB that fast. The file, I see is only 60 MB. What the F! By now, the so called Firefox 3 DL manager becomes annoying because it doesn't work like a DL manager because I can't continue the DL if the link breaks, which I think it's supposed to do.
I DL the firefox addon DownloadThemAll. I download 42% and then nothing. My DL speed which started at 1.2MB slowly goes down to 0 after a while. I can't resume though, which is very annoying considering that if I click on the link again, the DL starts fresh with fast speeds. However, those don't finish either. None of the subsequent DLs ever made it past 30%.
I look on the Hardocp forums and saw that people were saying that they were DLing in the morning... from where, I don't get it. People were later saying they need to login to get the key, and that just tops the cake. I am now totally confused and completely disappointed that I wasted an entire day with no results. I just so pissed.
