Ive been looking for a couple of weeks now off and on for a digital camera but everything i have read is from somene looking to spend 200-300-1000$. Im looking to spend <100$

So does anyone know of any <100$ cameras that have decent quality and aren't too bulky? (read below before you post a message saying for me to save another 100$ and buy the such and such)

I have an expensive digital camera that i like. I have never had a problem with it and it takes quality pictures. When i go on vacation or need to sell something i use it. I do not need another 200+$ digital camera as this one works just fine.

I want something that i can take with me on a regular basis for casual pictures, nothing special. I do not want to take my main camera anywhere because the chance of it getting damaged/lost/stolen. I am looking for a cheap model that i can just carry with me anywhere and basicly if something happens to it i wont be terribly upset about it.

You get what you pay for. Buy Canon. They have the best lenses in the industry and make incredible cameras.

If you don't have much of a budget, buy used from eBay and gamble. I got an S200 for $240 last April. You might be able to swing $150 now if you get lucky.

my brother picked up an HP 612 from KMart for $44 this past weekend. Seems like an OK camera for the money. 2.31MP

Well the point isn't to get a great camera. The point is to have a camera that i wont have to kill myself if something happens to it. Even 150$ is alot of money for something redundant.

you get what you pay for. For <$100 it's not going to take great pics. Really they are all probably going to be about the same (assuming the specs are close). So look for something with the best features in that price range. You are looking at 1-2MP, no optical zoom, limited storage, and relatively high compression.
