I give up, in the Seinfeld episode tonight (The Rye), what would the guy not do to Elaine?

<< I just assumed he didn't like to eat fish tacos..... >>

that's all i could come up with. just wanted to make sure. i assume it was anyone, and not just elaine. although with the amount of guy she bangs, it may be dead fish tacos :disgust:

<< here in Canada i don't get the same channels, which episode are you talking about? >>

the one where georges family goes to eat at susan's parents. they take the bread back that they brought. elaine was dating this musician that wouldnt do the whole "routine". never came out and said what it was (kinda like the "master of my domain" episode).

I thought it was made pretty clear at the end when he finally agrees to add the missing piece to his "repertoire" (LOL!) right before a very important saxophone performance. After he and Elaine finish and she tells him "you don't have to try so hard", he gets up there to give his performance and can't play at all.

"The Rye", incidentally, is one of my favorite episodes--I love it when Jerry steals that marble rye from Mrs. Choat--"Shaddup you old bag!" and Kramer feeding Rusty the horse that huge can of Beefarino from Price Club. Priceless!

I don't think I'll ever get tired of that show. :)

i finally got it!!!

thanks to this thread :)

it hit me in class earlier tonight and i busted out laughing and couldnt wipe the grin off my face. yes you were correct luv2chill. it all comes together now. at the end he couldnt play his sax. i thought this was because he was worn out from doing the wild monkey dance. it finally hit me that he couldnt play because his mouth was worn out from "trying too hard". i just thought he was a bit fatigued, but it was his mouth from...yeah, i know what it was now :D

First answer to that question, Flat, elicits a lock. That's assuming, of course, that they won't already attempt to maintain the family nature of this board! ;)
