I get this error when trying to flash my msi 845 ultra mb, whats wrong?

error 22 - flash rom cannot be correctly programmed.


Here is my motherboard

Try clearing the bios with the onboard jumper. Double check to make sure you have all the CORRECT files for updating that particular bios. Do it exactly how MSI's site instructs.

If nothing works, call MSI?

I figured it out. There was an option in the bios for flash protection. I disabled it.

I'm curious as to what speed processor you are using?

Do you like the 845? That is one of the two I am looking at.
