I get one post per CMOS reset on VPSD P4PB 400

My VPSD P4PB 400 is giving me problems. It wouldn't post originally, so I cleared the CMOS and it worked...one time. Upon my next boot, it failed to post again. I cleared the CMOS once more and it worked, then next boot, it failed. The only peripherals I have installed now are the Radeon 9700 Pro and one stick of Samsung DDR400. I'm caught in this cycle and haven't got a clue what's wrong. Check out my system specs in my sig for additional info. Thanks for any guidance you offer.

Update--this time, after I reset the CMOS, it came up with an error message saying something like "Warning, CMOS checksum error. CPU or ratio changed." Whatever the hell that means. This is the second mobo I've used for this computer. The first, a Gigabyte GA-8SG667 had a bad secondary IDE port, but it always posted fine.

Update II--Aight I've got an email off to VPSD, hopefully they'll offer me some insight. I'd like to have this damn computer built before semester break, but it doesn't look like that'll happen 🙁 (I started making it on NOV 24th!!!).

Do a search for "CMOS Checksum" here, do it under archieves and use General Hardware and Tech. Support, there is a list of them there.
