I get no sound when I hook my PC to my HDTV?

Maybe right click on the little speaker icon in the tray, go to playback devices and switch the sound to the appropriate device?

Maybe turn up the volume on everything, there could be several places where volume is controlled. If something is muted it might be hard to see so make sure everything is un-muted.

Unplug headphones?

That's all I got.

How are you connecting? I assume HDMI...

Yes with HDMI. So here how it work. I get sound on my computer and not HDTV ONLY when It an application on the internet like Youtube and Amazon Prime music but when I try to play games or use any other non-internet desktop application, there is no sound for both.

I been spending the last 2 hours googling it but to no avail.

Select Playback Devices from the Windows speaker Icon.

It would probably work out best to send us a screenshot of the Sound window that pops up, rather than us guessing what you have available.

Where is this Windows speaker icon located at? Thanks
