I FVCKING HATE THIEVES

So apparently last night, some asshole(s) decided to break into about 5-6 cars here on campus and hit the jackpot with my car. Stole my Alpine 9835 along with my subs/amps/cap. Smashed my passenger side window to get to the stuff, rummaged through everything (looks like they just put a hand in my glove compartment and flung everything out)...ugh this sucks, now I have to take work off this morning to go get my glass replaced and clean my car up, fvck thieves, fvck them so hard in the ass....ugh

It sucks. Happened to me......now I spend the 5 seconds to pull the faceplate out because that's about as effective as a deterrent that you can get in that sort of situation

Did the cops pull fingerprints?

I saw that they dusted, I have no idea if they got prints or not yet. I found some things in the car the police might be interested in (piece of a tool they dropped, doubt that it'll amount to much, but it's something) so the sargent is on her way down now to take another look.

WORD
Never happened to me, but I take my face plate out (sometimes take it with me depending where I'm parked) and have a cover over my sub & amps

I'm amazed they showed up...they did the report over the phone and basically wrote it off when my explorer had 2 rear windows broken out and the back partially emptied.

alarm ?

Thieves broke into my car this same weekend.

They busted through my driver side window, and opened the hood to cut the battery cable! There goes the alarm.

Stole my radio but they cut all the wires to get to it so now I have 20+ wires to reconnect. Couldn't they have just unplugged it?

Crime is out of control on my campus. I see new smashed windows every week. They've doubled the number of cops on patrol for my part of campus, but I still cant wait to move out

In Charlotte, a cop called me on the phone after I had reported that my car had gotten broken into, and when I mentioned that the thieves left a knife behind, he asked me to hold the blade up to a light and see if I saw any fingerprints. When I said no, he said "ok, there's no fingerprint", and that was the end of the investigation. I understand that the cost of a real investigation exceeds the value of the goods stolen out of my car(H/U, subs, amps, 60 DVDs that I happened to be bringing back, and my new fvcking pillows(what the fvck kind of thieves steal pillows? What the fvck, yo???)), but that annoyed me.

Someone broke into the small side panel glass on the black door of my wifes car. Luckily, I found a used piece of glass for about $44 bucks shipped and installed it myself with the help of my brother. The thief didn't find anything of value and left the car with papers scattered everywhere. At least I know how to change all the glass on all four doors now and where to get the parts cheap.

I hate these people that burgularize homes and cars, too!
