was stuck behind two of them driving next to each other, with fvcking rocks flying off of them and hitting my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they all think they are in some kind of race trying to get ahead of other cars and trucks?!?!?!?!
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why cant they stick to one side of the fvcking road!!!!

If the rocks are hitting your car and cracking windows, etc. - then you are following too closely. I hate dump trucks, too, but you do have to use a bit of common sense when following them.

The trouble is that the rocks travelling at 60mph bounce, so you might be 30-40 yards behind and still get hit with bouncing rocks.

BTW-I'd look at the paint on your hood as well. I'm sure that took a few hits also.

with regard to fast driving trucks...a logging truck loaded with logs was racing to get to a ferry terminal in Vancouver BC Canada and lost control around a corner, the logs that he was carrying flew off the truck into the opposite lane of traffic and killed a mother and daughter...this happened 2 weeks ago

Usually they have signs on the back like "Stay Back 100 Feet" and "Not responsoble for ogjects coming from road." Most times they can't help it because of the conditions of the job sites they visit (muddy, dirty). They are supposed to use tarps over the load, though.

those tarps that have that cover the rocks or dirt dont do sh!t
they all have holes or are ripped apart

i think they have to make them all go over huge speed bumps before they leave a site to shake off most of the rocks that are stuck in the truck itself
then they need to replace the tarp covers with hard covers like they have for pickup trucks!!
