...though when i first started using ASP.NET, i hated it too. It was so much more complicated to do simple tasks and it required waaay too much overhead. But after using it for two years, going back to ASP3 is like pulling teeth. I have to do EVERYTHING by hand! I feel like i'm constantly trying to jury-rig everything to make it work...

*sigh*
 
Yeah the ramp up time for asp.net is stupid compared to how quickly something can be done with asp/vbscript, although i think I'm possibly at the stage now where I could make something quicker in asp.net. And it's definitely a lot cleaner, either way. I hope I never have to go back 🙂
