I was suspossed to drive my neighbor to the air port this morrning, and I even set two alarms to get me up on time, but for some reason I did not wake up. I had given my neighbor my cell, so he could call me if he needed me for anyreason, yet he never called my call or our house. I woke up at like 7:30 and went over there and he was gone. How can I make up my idiotness to him, when he comes back sunday I'm going to offer to pay for his airport parking and everything, anything else I need to do. I just feel so fvcking stupid.
 
How old is your neighbor ad how old are you?

Offer to take him out for beers. Or get him some and take it over there when he gets back. Then apologize when he's drunk. It should go much smoother that way.

or knock on your door (he is your neighbor)
I guess he didn't do one the above because he didn't really care you driving him or not

Thanks...thats kinda what I needed to hear, I just did not really want to think that for fear of sounding like and ass.
 
I'm 16 too, I know what it feels like to "let down" someone thats a lot older than you like that...... about all you can do is say you're sorry but if he really wanted a ride he would have called or came over to your house.
 
if I were enlisting the help of a kid 1/3 my age, and he didn't show, I'd just chalk it up to your youth, and not wanting to bother you more, find a way myself. unless the kid was a jerk, then I'd flip. apologise sincerely.
 
I hate when that happens.. I woke up late today for no good reason as far as I could tell, and was almost late for work.. I hurried like a mofo

Sheesh! Damn kids these days show no sense of responsibility. When i was your age I had to walk to school barefoot in the snow....uphill....both ways.

Who cares? He didn't call so apparently HE doesn't care. I mean, it's not like you are expected to do this for him, it was going to be a favor (probably just so he didn't have to leave his car there, right?)

Too bad for him, but no big deal.

My mom always makes the joke that she did have to walk uphill both ways... because the name of the street was uphill.

It sounds like you made a much better attempt than most people would have. Don't feel bad about missing the alarm. Just offer a simple apology when the guy returns. That's all.

just tell him you are sorry...reality is you messed up, and there is nothing you can do. If he is at all understanding, he will just forgive you. If not, then just move on.
