Got that board off their refurb section. Good prices, but just don't expect to get an i/o shield packaged with it.

Somewhere, out there, an old Duron 800mhz is still running strong. I loved that chip, the fan died and it overheated no less than 5 times, and never had any damage.

My 1700+ @ 1.25V is still going strong too.

My mobile 2500+ (stock 1.8 Ghz) running at 2.5 Ghz is downright anemic, you just don't notice it until you replace it with a new rig running an Opteron 146 @ 2.7 Ghz.

Still have the Socket A system though. Great as an HTPC, and I know I could get a few 100 more mhz out of it if I still wanted to

I've still got a 1700+ and a Tbird 900 running strong...but my main rig's been a 3200+ for ~1.5yrs.

754 is the forgotten socket.

I don't love Newegg.

I ordered an item and they sent me the wrong item. I later re-ordered the same item (after setting up a return), and they sent me the same wrong item.

May be you are the unlucky one. one million out of one, that's you. I have no problem for that. I ordered more then 50 times.
