How can I get rid of these damn things?! They're so gross and for some reason they're all over the place this year. There was a gigantic one that I saw on my bedroom wall, and right when I went to go kill it, it is disappeared.

Now I can't sleep. How can I kill/prevent these fuckers?

I thought it was a rock band, what was that movie about the early days of a rolling stone reporter who followed a band?

Same problem here. The worst part is when you kill them on the wall, they stain your wall.

We get those things all the time. I traumatized my son a while back with them. He's seen them in the house. Well, the one day he was taking a bath, there was a furball or something on the floor (from the cats). I wadded it up and put it in the water behind him. It looked at first glance like one of those centipedes. So I'm like, hey son, look out, there is a centipede behind you! He saw it and freaked out and jumped out of the bathtub, lol. Mean daddy.

^^lol, you're evil! If they were slower and a little less freaky looking that'd be really great.

Btw, caught the one from last night! They come out in the dark, so I turned off the lights, waited a while, turned the lights back on, found him on my wall and he got crushed. :)

My wall is stained but I survived the night. :awe:

What you want to do is start of building a rax right away, and as soon as it finishes start building marines. When you have 2 marines and 3rd is building start on a bunker, and fill it with the marines. That should hold off the initial rush. Good luck from there.

Omfg this is it!!! I've been trying to figure out what they were. Knew it wasn't quite a silverfish. Thanks!

:colbert:

Don't ask for help with silverfish problems when you are dealing with house centipedes. They're completely different critters.

Silverfish you can control. House centipedes...burn your house to the ground. It REALLY IS the only way...

(BTW, in Indiana, there are highly venomous house centipedes that have been reported to kill and eat cats and small dogs...)
