I found this on an old, supposedly-dead hard drive in my computer shop. What do you guys make of it?
Samar 3/14/200 21:09 I thought after I told you that you would think I was really odd, but I should have known better, seeing as you are like me...I don't know if that is a good thing or not...
Foro 3/14/200 21:11I think it is a good thing.
Samar 3/14/200 21:11 Oh, A good thing eh? But don't "likes" repel?
Foro 3/14/200 21:12 No, I don't think we repel. For, that would make us seem a leper. (Palindromic, baby!)
Foro 3/14/200 21:13 I was listening to They Might Be Giants tonight, so, that seemed only natural.
Samar 3/14/200 21:14 Yeah, but it does not make sense nimrod! It may be ?palindromic,? but it lacks any cohesion!
Foro 3/14/200 21:15 Well, thanks for criticizing my hard work! And it does make sense. People are generally repelled by lepers! Leaping Lepers, Batman, what does it take to convince this girl!
Samar 3/14/200 21:15 Okay, just because you managed to use something I find amusing!
Samar 3/14/200 21:16 And it wasn't hard work...although I am not sure.....
Foro 3/14/200 21:16 Yeah! Hmmm....well, there was something hard over here, anyway!
Samar 3/14/200 21:16 Yeah, your skull!
Foro 3/14/200 21:17 Ouch! Yeah, don't make me bang you with it!
Samar 3/14/200 21:17 Your "head?"
Foro 3/14/200 21:18 Yes, that's head and shoulders above where we were headed!
Samar 3/14/200 21:18 You and my shoulders!
Foro 3/14/200 21:19 Oh yes, your shoulders! Thanks for giving me the heads up!
Samar 3/14/200 21:20 Ah, your head has been up ever since this conversation acquired a point.
Foro 3/14/200 21:21 Yes, it is rather pointed......the conversation, that is.
Samar 3/14/200 21:21 Is the competition in these puns too stiff for you?
Foro 3/14/200 21:22 No, I am used to the stiffness. I just hold me head down and push right through any difficulty.
Samar 3/14/200 21:24 Oh, so you are a pushy "conversationalist." Hardheaded, so to speak?
Foro 3/14/200 21:25 My head is hard at times. But it takes me a while to build up a head of steam. But when I do, the steam is the cream of the crop.
Samar 3/14/200 21:27 Oh? Well, you will find me a yielding listener then if your argument is long and has a strong point.
Foro 3/14/200 21:29 Oh, my argument will be deep and well formed. At first, it may go shallow, just touching the surface, skimming from place to place, but that is just to get the listener warmed up.
Samar 3/14/200 21:30 Then you like the ins and outs of a heated debate?
Foro 3/14/200 21:31 The more heated, the better. I don't mind adding a lot of fuel to the fire. The more you stoke said fire, the easier it is to penetrate beyond the cusp, and explore the chasm beyond.
Samar 3/14/200 21:34 And you find that you can last in your prodding counterings?
Foro 3/14/200 21:36 I can often make my partner achieve several epiphanies during my proddings, and with further delving deep into the issues at hand afterward, several more points can often be fathomed.
Foro 3/14/200 21:38 What I find the most stimulating, though, is the swift and unexpected counterthrusts of my sparring partner.
Samar 3/14/200 21:40 Oh really? I would hope that I can at least keep you from boredom with my enveloping thoughts on this rigid issue.
Foro 3/14/200 21:41 I think boredom would not be our overriding issue to deal with. I think a more pressing issue would be the various positions you take as you mull over my arguments.
Samar 3/14/200 21:43 Seeing as I am quite convincing and flexible in my postulations, I would hope you would not object to me sometimes taking the upper position in an argument?
Samar 3/14/200 21:44 Well, at least once or twice.
Foro 3/14/200 21:45 You could take the upper position anytime you like. I do not mind being overridden from time to time, and there is nothing more stimulating than having a debating partner press their side relentlessly.
Samar 3/14/200 21:47 I hope you don't mind that in me, for I can be quite pushy. And I would hope you would also consider me an equal in these heated discussions, although they could get quite long-winded. But I do not doubt that you could keep up your point.
Foro 3/14/200 21:48 I want an equal in these debates. And pushiness I do not mind, especially if you feel you must hammer something home against my hard-headedness. And the more long-winded, the better. It is good to feel drained after a long argument.
Samar 3/14/200 21:53 Oh, I was not complaining about long-winded conversations. Rather I might happily complain if you drive some of your points expertly home. Although I might seem, to an ignorant person, to be countering your opposition on the direction of the discussion, I would of course be pleased with your well-laid foundation for your own triumph in the debate.
Foro 3/14/200 21:56 I understand your direction exactly. You are content as long as you get to make some points, but also understand that once I have laid a firm foundation, the eventual uncapping of my final point would be most welcome.
Samar 3/14/200 22:02 Of course. Although my final postulates would of course seem to be opposite to yours, they are of course just as important, and as fun to finally come to! And, like our debate about our debate, there is always the wind-down time. Or perhaps just a lull.
Foro 3/14/200 22:03 Yes, there is a time when the debating stops, and the din of dissent gives way to the eventual afterglow of contemplation.
Samar 3/14/200 21:09 I thought after I told you that you would think I was really odd, but I should have known better, seeing as you are like me...I don't know if that is a good thing or not...
