Hello,

I finally found the case I really want 🙂 Only problem is that I don't think it has hit the reseller market yet? Please let me know if you know where this case can be found (tried Google). Apparently this case was demoed before when it looked almost identical to the new Alienware cases. The new one is a bit further from the Alienware design.

Received an email reply from raidmax corporation on the Samurai case, here is what they said (apparantly they thought I was a reseller even though I asked them where I could find a reseller):

Thank you.
But you need wait 3~ 4 weeks.
Please fill out our reseller application forms and fax them back. We'll open
an account for you and notice you while we have Samurai in stock.

Ditto 🙂 I was going to buy an Alienware system, just for the case. I have decided recently to put my own system together near the beginning of July. It is good to see that at least one company has a somewhat similar case 🙂

If you find any information let me know! I haven't heard back from Raidmax or Newegg yet (of course it's Sunday)
 
y is it that all alien-like stuff has gills? not that they look bad, but i didnt know aliens had gills. 😀
 
yea alienware was getting all mad that they had cases that looked like theirs. been calling around getting people to stop selling them.
 
Perhaps if your a teenager, or under 16, these cases may be ehem *attractive*, but they are one of the reasons I doubt I will ever buy an Alienware desktop/laptop, as they are childish and hideous looking to me. I much prefer the elegant and sleek designs from antec/lian li etc.

To each his own. Some like the tried and true (read: uninspired & somewhat boring) designs of the old beige box (now the new silver or black box).

I like to think and look outside of the "box" and get something a bit unique. Heck, there are a lot of people completely satisfied with "beige" because its neutral color matches with so many drives, etc..

If you want to have fun and if you like something different.... there are options galore. 😉
 
Anybody know if this is out yet? Couldn't find anybody in the US with Google (just a Canadian place for $200 and a European place which is OOS).
 
ForceCaliber I couldnt have said it better... I think that case is butt ugly. Li's cases are pretty nice the higher end ones that is. Here are some lianli cases I am interested in myself the first one being my favorite I think:

I currently own two Addtronics W8500 cases. Very nice but I would go with Lian Li if I could sell mine for what they are worth but I dont think I can even on ebay. I just love the sleek look of the hi end lian li cases with royal casters etc.
 
I like that Raidmax case, but it looks like a ton of plastic all over it. I'd buy that case in a minute if it was all Aluminum 🙂

While I agree with your opinion, that was the snobbiest, most head up your ass thing I've ever heard someone say. (I'm 18 btw).
