I found my next purchase

You know, a compact fridge that serves the same function costs 1/6 as much and holds more things than just cans of pop.

honestly, cant really see a point... looks like one of those thing they sell at sharper's image. may have some 'cool factor' to it, but not all that practical if you ask me...

I know its not very practica. And sure you can get one of those mini fridges for 1/6 the price. But come on, this thing is cool.

We just got them in at work. We all just stood around and drooled.

Oh yeah, it does bottles as well as cans.

I saw that in Home Depot a few months ago. My dad and I looked at each other and both had that child-like grin on our faces. Then we saw the price tag.

Maybe one day I'll have the disposable income to buy novelty items like that. God knows we tailgate enough for UT and Titans football games and could put it to good use. 😛

That thing is made for tailgating. There will never be any 20oz 'pop' at any of my tailgate parties!

Kickass, though for that kind of money I'd rather get a kegerator

Took the words right off my fingers 🙂
Besides - I'll be married in November. I won't need some fancy dispensing system to get me a beer; I can just dispense the wife!

For the same amount of money (and quite possibly less) you can pick up an actual used vending machine.

Check your local classified ads. They're out there - I've even seen some of the "special" machines (IE the ones with theme based front panels) listed for sale for a few hundred bucks.

You'd have to have a pretty big room/house to pull it off, but you can definitely find them.

You better talk to her about that before November. It might be a deal-breaker. 😉

We just picked up a vending machine from the university surplus lot for $125. It weighs a ton, and doesn't look quite as fancy as this but it has the same cool factor.

We already have a kegerator, just needed this to complete the package.

Do you have children? Once dependants start sucking up food and clothing, your discretionary takes quite a hit.

I'd like to have a beer BOTTLE cooler. I don't really care for cans.
