So odd... I started my search for a new abode last Friday. The first day out, we looked at three houses. 2 absolutely sucked, but the third... well, I'm putting a bid on it tomorrow.

UPDATE:
We filled out the bid application last night, offered a resonable amount. Got a call from my agent just 10 minutes ago and she told us another bid was received this morning, for more money, and they had already sold their house...

I'm quite dissapointed right now.... it was so perfect.... and now when I go look at every other place, I'll be comparing it to this one (inadvertantly, but I will) :(

we have been looking for a few months! we got so tired of looking we are goint to just build a fricken place.

Thanks everyone :) I cant sleep I'm so excited. Is that wrong? I just hope that no one gets into a bidding war with me. I'd rather keep the price on the low low.

Where is this place? And how much would a house like that typically cost you around that area?

I dunno, I kinda like central air. Where do you live? Conneticut. I guess thats decently far north. How hot does it get there?

We're in the middle of selling ours and buying another... It's exciting at first, but then turns into a major PITA in no time.

I swear, things would be so much easier if the negotiations could be settled over lunch with only the home owners present (no realtors)... It'd probably be a done deal in 15 minutes.
