I found my first bug!

I started a new job with a new CDMA company as a SW Test Engineer and after 1 week here I finally found some bugs that have not been found already with the phones. I found like 10 last week but unfortunately they were stuff that had already been documented.
I was starting to feel kinda useless for a little bit till now🙂

I just got done writing up the Error report so hopefully our SW Engineers will try to fix it. This makes the phone crash every single time you do it so they should fix it.

Me too, especially as they move towards being phone + PDA + media player. And it's fun to work on something where size and runtime matter instead of just throwing more MB and MHz at the problem.

I even applied to BSquare (CE software co.) in '00 after my previous employer was sold to Thomson Learning, but I had a couple of other offers before I had a chance to interview. A good thing, since BSquare has had to downsize after MS stopped giving them much CE work.

is this CDMA or CDMA2000??

I don't want to say exactly where here (PM if you really want to know) but I will say this much, I used to work for Qualcomm, then Kyocera-Wireless. There is only two other places in San Diego that offer CDMA phones.

Good idea!

On second thought us testers don't have enough money to pay of any programmers..
