It seems my GF brought them over on the weekend. She was playing with her brother's dogs and brought the little bastards with her when she came over.

I thought it was just my imagination at first. They don't like the way I taste, so they aren't biting me. I can feel them jumping on and off me, though.

:(

I have already started spraying them and hope they will be gone shortly.

That sucks. Just fog your apt and tell your neighbors not to breathe in for a couple days.

He he... Your girlfriend has fleas :^P

Vacuuming might be enough to get rid of them if you don't have pets, and don't live in a flea infested area. When I lived in the flatlands I couldn't get rid of the bastards. I think they hitched a ride in the house on me, then took up residence on the cat. After moving out of the area, I haven't had a single flea.

They will die off quickly if you don't have pets for them to feed on.

my wife used ionized salt on the carpets to kill the eggs a few years ago then vacuumed it up

Salt or Borax will act as a dessicant and dry them out ... then you vacuum them up.

OP, do you have a DIY pest control shop nearby? I do and I bought (and still use) a product named Demon WP. The critters walk through it, they clean themselves and ingest it ... and it cuts them up inside.
