yes! i secured a job for when i graduate in mid june! i've actually already started. :)

i'm an ebay auctions coordinator for a company that sells pool tables and now have moved on to watches. so i send out confirmation of payments, shipping information, write up feedback, file NPB, other random ebay stuff, and of course ANSWERING QUESTIONS.

some people are downright RUDE about feedback. "you will send tracking info now or bad feedback i leave." you're a grown adult, please form a proper sentence.

so YAY for me. job! i can pay rent!

and now... onto... getting my car! i asked AAA and they said full coverage is 1847 for me. 1998 honda civic lx in los angeles. good or bad?

<-- 21 year old male, liability only on a 88 Accord - $1600 a year (give or take). A lot depends on your record, zip code, county, etc.

Congratulations! I remember this position listed somewhere such as MonsterTRAK since I am (or was, now that I finally found something) looking for work.

As for the insurance, it sounds somewhat high.

How old are you? That seems like quite a bit. But there's a reason why i don't go with AAA.

Anyways, what kind of degree do you have to land a job like that?

I have mecury, 25, m, no accidents, ~ 1100/year for full (300k/100k) coverage on a 99 accord coupe.

congrats on getting a job. That period of uncertainty sucks.

to answer the questions:

1. i'm 22 years old, one accident (not at fault, they backed into me), otherwise perfect driving record. the zip code i put in is 90024. this quote is with AAA and i'd prefer to stay with them since i've been with them all my life. there are reasons why other companies are cheaper after all..

2. yes this is the job that was on monster.com. 300 people applied, 40 people interviewed, 3 people hired. :)

3. i'm graduating from UCLA on june 15th at 9am with a degree in political science. yes no more taking abuse from customers at circuit city but now i get it through ebay.

4. yes i get paid for ebay correspondence. but its more than that... i got this job because of my customer service experience - fry's, circuit city, and my job at school.
